Soroptimist International of Saskatoon is part of a global volunteer movement in over 121 countries with 72,000 members globally. We believe that by joining with other women and engaging in awareness, advocacy, and action in the service of our community and society, we can make the world a better place for all.
Soroptimist means ‘best for women’ and that is what we strive to be - an organization of women at our best, helping other women to be their best.
SI of Saskatoon, a non profit organization, is committed to investing in programs and projects that have a sustainable, measurable change for women and girls. We provide innovative programs that deal with tough issues, such as:
ending violence against women
human trafficking
education and financial literacy
career support and mentorship.
Through the fun of friendship and unity of purpose, we empower women and girls to reach their full potential and achieve their dreams.
Our History
Since 1956, Soroptimist International of Saskatoon has been dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in our community. As we approach our 70th anniversary in 2026, we’re proud to reflect on the powerful ways women helping women has created lasting change. From grassroots initiatives to major community projects, our members have always stepped up where support was most needed—proving time and again that when women help women, amazing things happen.
